The main purpose of this facial is to cleanse, exfoliate, tone and moisturise the face. It is suitable for all skin types and leaves the skin feeling pampered, relaxed  and refreshed. Mini facial lasts for 30 minutes. You can incorporate mini facial into your regular skin care regimens as it includes all purposes of a facial with less time.

This facial starts with warm wet towel placed on your face and is left on for several minutes. After removing the towel the therapist will cleanse you face with an appropriate cleanser to remove make up, dirt, or any access oil on your skin. This facial includes pressure points face massage, after massage mask will be applied next. Wet cold cotton pads will be placed on your eyes to reduce eye puffiness. Toner will be applied to your skin to close the pores. It can also help to balance the pH of the skin and protect the face from bacteria after facial. At the end of the facial moisturiser will be applied to the face and neck to rehydrate the skin. It will protect the skin leaving it looking fresh and bright.

  • Aids the process of lymphatic drainage, and the relaxation of the facial muscles which may slow the onset of wrinkles
  • Renews skin cells, reducing puffiness and sagging in the face
  • Improves skin tone, texture, and overall appearance

Deep Cleansing Facial

Deep cleansing facial is the best way to look after your skin. This facial nourishes your skin and also promotes a clear well hydrated complexion. By getting this facial done on a regular basis your skin will look much younger.

  • Cleansing. After wrapping your hair with a towel or headband, the therapist will  begin a facial with thoroughly cleansing the face using cotton pads,  wipes or sponges.
  • Skin Analysis. The therapist covers your eyes and looks at your skin through a brightly lit magnifying lamp. She will determine your basic skin type (dry, oily, combination, sensitive or normal) and skin conditions (acne, blackheads, whiteheads, aging, sun-damage, dehydration, etc.) And choose the appropriate products and treatments, and will consults with you what she sees and recommends.
  • Steam. Most facials use a machine that directs a thin vapor of warm steam to your face. This is relaxing and helps softening up any blackheads and whiteheads to be extracted. If you have very sensitive skin steam may not be used.
  • Exfoliation involves using a mechanical or chemical exfoliant. Mechanical exfoliants have a gritty texture that rubs away the surface dead skin cells. This type of exfoliation usually happens during the steam. Chemical exfoliation uses enzymes and acids to loosens the bond between skin cells. A gentle enzyme treatment can be done during the steam. Stronger chemical peels, which vary in intensity, can be a stand-alone treatment or part of the facial. It is not generally an “upgrade” and done in a series. It is not done with steam.
  • Extractions. This is the removal of blackheads or whiteheads if you want it and need it. People have different pain tolerance for extractions. They can be uncomfortable, especially on thin or ruddy skin. Extractions can cause broken capillaries and discoloration if done improperly.
  • Facial massage is using classic strokes like effleurage to both relax you and stimulate your skin and facial muscles.
  • A facial mask is applied targeting your skin type (dry, oily, combination, sensitive, mature) and condition. During the facial the therapist  should stay in the room and give you a scalp massage or some other service. If they leave the room to let you “relax,” don’t go back.
  • Final application is the use of toner, serums, moisturizer and sunscreen if it is daytime.
  • Cleanses the skin, removing toxins caused by pollution, grease and dirt as well as dead skin clogging the pores
  • Exfoliation tightens, firms, and cleanses the skin for a more radiant appearance
  • Improves and restores circulation to facial skin layers, increasing the flow of oxygen-enriched blood to skin cells which in turn plumps the skin with nutrients and water reducing the appearance of wrinkles and dry skin.

Acne Treatment Facial

Acne facials are recommended for clients prone to oily skin and acne. The treatment incorporates a combination of thorough steaming, deep cleansing, and extraction techniques to remove pore-clogging sebum. Salicylic and glycolic acids are often used to manage and prevent acne flare-ups.

The skin is analysed by your therapist so that the acne treating products can be tailored to your skin’s needs. The pores are then opened using steam, which also softens the skin around the pustules, and excess oil and dirt is removed from the skin. An exfoliant is then used to remove the top layer of skin, which is mainly made up of dirt and dead skin cells. Pus, bacteria, and in some cases blood are removed from clogged follicle openings using an extractor, and finally a moisturiser suitable for your skin type is then used to soothe the skin and put the moisture back in.

–       Gets rid of excess oil in the skin.

–       Removes spots and impurities in the skin.

–       Stimulates circulation for healthier skin.

–       When performed regularly, prevents acne from occurring/recurring.

Anti-Wrinkle Treatment

As you age, your skin gets thinner and does not lick in moisture as well as it used to. It also loses collagen, which gives skin a plump appearance, and elastin, which makes it able to return back to its prior form quickly. Creases are formed in the skin from all the facial expressions you make and the outside elements it is exposed to. Our anti-ageing facial is targeted to aging skin to slow down this process and keep skin in its youngest, healthiest form.

The process is started with the cleansing of the skin and close analysis. This ensures that the products used by your therapist are tailored to your skin. The skin is steamed and exfoliated to remove the top layer of skin, which is made up of dirt and dead skin cells. Blackheads or whiteheads are then removed if needed. Mature skin is sometimes prone to large blackheads. The face is then massaged to relax you and to stimulate your skin and facial muscles. Depending on your skin type, toners, serums, and creams will then be applied to moisturise and protect the skin.

–       Rejuvenates skin.

–       Removes dead skin and dirt.

–       Improves circulation.

–       Improves skin texture.

–       Slows the aging process.

Collagen Treatment

Collagen is a naturally occurring protein in the skin, tissue, and bones. In the skin, it is responsible for maintaining the strength and structure of skin. A collagen facial uses collagen protein to revitalise the skin and replenish the skin’s natural proteins to slow down the ageing process.

The skin is firstly thoroughly cleansed. It is then exfoliated to remove dead skin cells from the surface. This also helps any acne and congestion in the skin. The skin is then massaged with a concentrated collagen cream. A mask is then applied, left on, and wiped off with warm water.

–       Keeps skin taut and supple

–       Improves elasticity and resilience to damage

–       Decreases wrinkles

–       Eliminates more subtle signs of aging

–       Moisturizes skin

Glycolic Facial

A glycolic facial uses an alpha hydroxyl acid (glycolic acid) to slough away the upper layers of dead skin cells. This removes dirt and also helps to slow down the aging process. The procedure can also be used to treat freckles, pigmentation, and mild sun damage. It also stimulates the production of new collagen, which improves skins texture.

The face is firstly washed thoroughly. The glycolic acid is then applied onto the skin using a sponge and left for several minutes. It is then washed off with water and neutralized with an alkaline substance. The peel will cause redness for two or three days while the outer layers of the skin dry up and gradually peel away. This allows a new layer of skin to appear.

–       Safely removes outer layer of skin

–       Brings fresh, new, softer skin to the surface

–       Helps slow down skin aging

–       Helps treat pigmentation and mild sun damage

–       Helps acne or blackhead-prone skin

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is one of the easiest and most effective anti-acing facials. It softens fine lines and wrinkles, helps to smooth coarse skin, decreases appearance of scarring, decreases pore size, and reduces superficial hyper-pigmentation.

Microdermabrasion includes thorough cleansing of the skin and exfoliation using microdermabrasion. During microdermabrasion a hand piece is glided over the skin to both spray and vacuum up aluminum oxide crystals. The skin is then smoothened with the application of a mask, and moisturized.

–       Decreases appearance of scarring and pigmentation

–       Slows aging

–       Decreases large pores

–       Brightens skin

–       Helps smooth skin
